Renowned Bollywood icon Amitabh Bachchan has broken his silence with a cryptic social media post, following controversial remarks made by Indian politician Rahul Gandhi concerning Bachchan and his daughter-in-law, actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. The actor, known affectionately as Big B, chose to remain composed and focused on his well-being amidst the unfolding controversy.

In a widely circulated video from a recent political rally, Rahul Gandhi, while on his Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra, mentioned Amitabh Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, drawing mixed reactions from the public. Despite the attention garnered by Gandhi’s comments, Bachchan refrained from directly addressing the matter, instead opting to share insights into his current endeavors.

Taking to social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter, Bachchan expressed his commitment to physical and mental health, prioritizing personal wellness over external distractions. “T 4929 – time for work out .. mobility of the body .. flexibility of the mind .. all else can wait,” he wrote, offering a glimpse into his mindset amid the furor.

Furthermore, in a reflective blog post, the veteran actor acknowledged his return to work after an extended hiatus, highlighting the challenges of balancing professional commitments with personal fulfillment. While Bachchan’s response did not directly reference Gandhi’s statements, his words resonated with a sense of resilience and gratitude towards his supporters.

During his address, the political leader raised concerns about the Ram Mandir inauguration, emphasizing the exclusion of Dalits, backward classes, and even the President from receiving invitations, deeming it a disrespectful act towards these marginalized groups. Rahul Gandhi, speaking at a gathering in Lalganj Indira Chowk, Rampur Khas Assembly constituency, criticized Prime Minister Modi for allegedly favoring industrialists and celebrities like Amitabh Bachchan over the interests of the majority of the population. Gandhi’s remarks suggested that such invitations disregarded the significance of a large segment of society.

Furthermore, in a separate rally, Rahul commented, “Aishwarya will be seen dancing and Bachchan saab will do a Balle Balle!”

These statements faced considerable backlash from various social media users, including singer Sona Mohapatra, who accused Gandhi of perpetuating misogyny.
