Opposition INDIA bloc has decided to address the arrest of JMM leader Hemant Soren in both houses of Parliament.

Sources have revealed that this decision was made during a meeting of INDIA bloc leaders, held this morning in the chamber of Leader of Opposition Mallikarjun Kharge in Parliament House. This marks the first time that opposition leaders have gathered to discuss their strategy in the ongoing Budget Session of Parliament, which commenced on January 31.

The opposition leaders have expressed their disapproval of Soren’s arrest by the Enforcement Directorate, as well as the delay in the formation of the new government in the state.

Prior to Soren’s arrest, prominent opposition figures such as Sonia Gandhi, Sharad Pawar, and TR Baalu had convened at Kharge’s residence.

They claim that Soren was compelled to step down as chief minister and that the process of establishing a new government was intentionally delayed.Hemant Soren was apprehended on Wednesday night subsequent to his resignation as the Jharkhand chief minister.
