Backward Class Panel’s Survey for Maratha Quota to Conclude Before Midnight on Friday

The survey conducted by the Maharashtra State Backward Class Commission regarding the Maratha quota will conclude just before midnight on Friday and will not be extended.

The Maharashtra State Backward Class Commission (MSBCC) has sent a letter to all district collectors and municipal commissioners on Thursday, stating that the survey’s software (APK) will be closed at 11:59pm on Friday. The survey will not be extended, and no requests for an extension should be made. The letter also instructs the officials to inform all enumerators to complete their survey by the specified time. The MSBCC requires a certificate confirming the completion of the report by 10 am on February 3.

The purpose of the survey is to support the state government’s curative petition filed in the Supreme Court regarding the Maratha quota.
