Patna, 31st Jan.
Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said on Wednesday that he will remain in the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) forever and continue working for the people of Bihar.

This statement comes after Kumar recently left the Mahagathbandhan (grand alliance) and formed a new government with the support of the Bharatiya Janata Party.

Kumar slammed the opposition’s alliance, called INDIA, stating that he had requested them to choose a different name but they did not listen.

He also mentioned that the opposition has not yet decided on the distribution of seats for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls.

Kumar emphasized that he has returned to his original alliance and will stay there permanently, dedicated to serving the people of Bihar.
The new government plans to seek a trust vote in the state assembly on February 10.

The Congress and the RJD accused Kumar of being a master of U-turns, with Congress General Secretary Jairam Ramesh stating that Kumar has surpassed even Narendra Modi in this regard.

This is the ninth time that Nitish Kumar has taken the oath as Chief Minister of Bihar, and it is his fifth switch in political alliances in just over a decade.

The new government also includes two Deputy Chief Ministers from the BJP and six other ministers.
