Patna, 31st Jan. Political strategist Prashant Kishor (PK) said on Monday that the BJP-led NDA will regain power with the same or even more seats in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
Kishor also predicted a significant lead for the NDA in Bihar.
He attributed this to the popularity of Prime Minister Modi, the strength of the BJP, and the lack of opposition due to a large portion of the population in Bihar not supporting Lalu Yadav’s RJD. In the previous elections, the NDA won a total of 335 seats, with 39 out of 40 seats in Bihar.
Kishor’s prediction comes just a day after Nitish Kumar left the RJD to join the NDA.
Kishor criticized the Bihar Chief Minister for abandoning the grand alliance and claimed that Kumar will not be able to win more than 20 seats in the 2025 assembly polls.
He also stated that the alliance between the BJP and JDU will not last beyond six months and will break before the next assembly elections.
Last month, Kishor mentioned that the BJP had an advantage in the 2024 Lok Sabha polls due to their victories in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, and Chhattisgarh.
He emphasized that going into the elections with a previous win provides a psychological advantage. However, he acknowledged that the state elections would further strengthen the BJP’s position.
