Indore, 30th Jan. The Women’s Press Club, Madhya Pradesh, recently held elections for its new executive committee. Sheetal Roy was elected as the president, while Ritu Sahu was elected as the secretary.
The committee also selected Ms. Pushpa Sharma Dhar and Ms. Alka Dubey Indore as guides, and Ms. Rachna Johari Indore, Ms. Aarti Sharma Bhopal, and Ms. Meena Rana Shah Indore as patrons.
Other office bearers include Ms. Kavita Mandre from Gwalior and Dr. Ms. Kalpana Saxena from Indore, who were elected as vice presidents. Ms. Rani Raikwar from Jabalpur was elected as the joint secretary, and Neha Pathak from Indore was elected as the treasurer.

The responsibility of executive members was given to Ms. Hina Tiwari from Ujjain, Ms. Shatabdi Sharma from Indore, Ms. Niharika Sharma from Indore, Dr. Vandana Joshi from Indore, and Ms. Vandana Tomar from Sagar.
A large number of members participated in the general meeting held at Abhinav Kala Samaj. During the meeting, President Sheetal Roy expressed her commitment to working for the rights, status, and protection of women journalists in Madhya Pradesh.
The Women’s Press Club will organize its annual function in March. Senior journalists Ms. Rachna Johri and Meena Rana Shah welcomed President Ms. Roy and the new office bearers during the meeting.
