New Delhi, 30th Jan.
Nishikant Dubey, a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party, has alleged that Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren’s wife, Kaplana Soren, may replace him as he has called all allied MLAs to come to Ranchi with their belongings.

In a post on X, Mr. Dubey questioned how a man who is hiding can protect the people of the state. He advised those who are following the Chief Minister’s instructions to think twice, as the CM is proving himself to be a fugitive, avoiding the investigating agency. The man is facing insults both in the country and abroad all day long. How can he protect the officers or the people of the state?

Hemant Soren has called his own party, JMM, Congress, and allied MLAs to come to Ranchi with their luggage and bags. According to the information, there is a proposal to make Kalpana Soren (Hemant Soren’s wife) the Chief Minister. The CM has stated that due to fear of an ED interrogation, they will travel to Ranchi by road and announce their arrival.

Meanwhile, officials from the Enforcement Directorate were seen at the residence of Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren in Delhi on Monday.

Supriyo Bhattacharya, the General Secretary of Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM), stated that Chief Minister Soren is willing to appear before the Enforcement Directorate on January 31 in connection with a money-laundering case related to an alleged land scam.

The Chief Minister has gone to Delhi for personal reasons and will return. He has been called for questioning on January 31. We are prepared for that date. We have provided the location, which is the CM’s residence on Kanke Road, and the time, which is 1 pm. Who is causing all this confusion? The way the political situation is being presented goes against democratic values, said Mr. Bhattacharya.

Earlier, the Enforcement Directorate had sent a letter to the Jharkhand Chief Minister, asking him to provide a date for questioning on January 29 or 31. If he fails to do so, the agency will go to him for questioning regarding a money-laundering case linked to an alleged land scam.

According to sources, the central agency has issued a fresh summons to Chief Minister Soren, asking him to be available for questioning on January 29 or 31. If he does not comply, the agency will go to him for questioning.

This is the tenth summons issued to Chief Minister Soren by the central agency.
