Mumbai, 29th Jan. NCP president Sharad Pawar on Sunday expressed his belief that the people will respond strongly to the political game of “frequently shifting loyalties” played by Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.
In a video statement, Pawar mentioned that it was Kumar who initially took the initiative to bring together the opposition parties and invited them to Patna.
“Until 15 days ago, he was working towards the unity of the opposition parties. It is unclear what suddenly changed,” Pawar remarked.
“This is unprecedented. Previously, the phrase ‘Aaya Ram, Gaya Ram’ became famous in Haryana,” he added.
On Sunday, Kumar was sworn in as the Chief Minister of Bihar for a record ninth time. This move came after a dramatic change of heart, as he abandoned the Mahagathbandhan and the opposition bloc INDIA, forming a new government with the BJP, whom he had previously left less than 18 months ago.
