Patna, 28th Jan.
Nitish Kumar, with the support of the BJP, will have two Deputy Chief Ministers in his new government, according to the sources.

Samrat Chaudhary, the Bihar BJP chief, and Vijay Sinha, the Leader of Opposition in the Bihar assembly, are expected to be appointed as Deputy Chief Ministers.

JP Nadda, the national head of the BJP, will arrive in Patna this evening to finalize the realignment between the BJP and Nitish Kumar’s Janata Dal (United) or JD(U).

Yesterday, there were reports suggesting that Sushil Kumar Modi, a BJP leader who previously served as Nitish Kumar’s deputy when the BJP and JD(U) were in an alliance, may return to the state.

During Sushil Modi’s tenure as Bihar’s Deputy Chief Minister, he often faced criticism from the Opposition for being seen as Nitish Kumar’s loyal supporter.
