Patna, 28th Jan.
Rohini Acharya, the daughter of Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief Lalu Yadav, took a veiled swipe at Janata Dal (United) leader Nitish Kumar, who on Sunday stepped down as the Chief Minister of Bihar. Acharya stated that the garbage has been thrown into the dustbin.

Kumar resigned from his position, citing issues within the Mahagathbandhan alliance, which he had joined less than 18 months ago, and the opposition bloc INDIA.

Acharya posted on X (formerly Twitter), “Garbage goes back into the dustbin. Happy stinking garbage to the group.”

She had also made controversial remarks on Thursday, which were later deleted.

The RJD later clarified that Acharya’s social media posts were directed towards Prime Minister Narendra Modi, not Nitish Kumar.

When asked about the deleted posts on X, an RJD leader stated, “Comments made in another context are withdrawn when vested interests use these for political purposes.” Acharya, who resides in Singapore, did not mention any names in her posts.

Screenshots of the deleted posts, written in Hindi, went viral on social media. One of the posts indirectly criticized Nitish Kumar, who had recently denounced dynasty politics.
