Kharge to Address ‘Odisha Bachho Samabesh’ in Bhubaneswar on Jan 29: OPCC President

Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge will address the ‘Odisha Bachho Samabesh’ (Save Odisha Conference) on January 29, according to OPCC chief Sarat Pattnayak.

Pattnayak stated that the state committee of the party has been working hard to ensure Kharge’s first visit to the state as Congress president is a great success.

A large rally will be held in Bhubaneswar at the Lower PMG Square, which is expected to boost the morale of party workers and leaders before the upcoming election campaign in the state.

Pattnayak also mentioned that the AICC has given high priority to Odisha, and claimed that the political situation in the state is favorable for the Congress as both the ruling BJD and opposition Congress have joined forces to deceive the people.

He emphasized that the Congress is the only opposition party in Odisha. Kharge’s visit aims to guide on how to defeat both the BJD and BJP and bring about a change in the political landscape of Odisha.

In addition to addressing the rally, Kharge will meet with senior party leaders and leaders of other parties in the INDIA bloc.

Pattnayak added that Kharge will discuss the routes of Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra in the state and review its preparations with state party leaders.
