New Delhi, 28th Jan.
Arvinder Singh Lovely, the Delhi Congress president, expressed confidence on Saturday that his party workers have the capability, determination, and energy to make a comeback in Delhi, despite not being in power for the past 10 years.

He made these remarks while addressing Congress workers ahead of their convention, which is scheduled to take place at the Geeta Colony Ramlila ground in east Delhi on February 3. The convention will feature a speech by party president Mallikarjun Kharge.

Lovely stated, “Congress’ booth-level workers have been more active and effective in resolving people’s issues compared to MLAs from other parties.”

He reassured Congress workers that they should not be disheartened by the party’s absence from power in Delhi for the past decade, as they possess the capability, determination, and energy to make a comeback.

He emphasized the need for them to develop a strategy to strengthen the party at the booth level.
