New Delhi, 27th Jan. Emmanuel Macron, the President of France, was the primary guest at the 75th Republic Day celebrations in India on a two-day state visit.
India and France signed agreements for a range of fields during Macron’s visit, including public administration, science and technology, urban development, space exploration, defense, and civil aviation. Additionally, the two countries have announced plans to cooperate in a number of areas, such as renewable energy, UPI, immigration concerns, etc. A letter of intent on a defense space alliance has reportedly been signed with France, according to the ministry of external affairs. A deal between TATA Advanced Systems Limited (TASL) and Airbus to establish an H125 helicopter assembly facility in India is one of the final documents.
