New Delhi, 24th Jan. In celebration of India’s 75th Republic Day, distinguished guests from various fields will gather at Kartavya Path to witness the Republic Day parade. The government will honor several beneficiaries of central government schemes by inviting them to be a part of this significant event.
As a notable addition to the esteemed guest list, the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare is inviting over 1500 farmers who have benefited from various central government schemes such as Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana and Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchayee Yojana.
These farmers will have the opportunity to watch the 75th Republic Day Parade. In addition, they will receive comprehensive training on key government initiatives like AIF, M&T, National Seeds Cooperation, and Per Drop More Crop.
They will also visit the PUSA Campus on January 25, 2024. On January 26, 2024, the special invitees will witness the Republic Day parade at Kartavya Path.
After the parade, the farmers will gather at Subramaniam Hall, PUSA, for a special program in the presence of Union Minister of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare and Tribal Affairs, Shri Arjun Munda.
During this program, the minister will express his gratitude to the farmers for their essential role in strengthening the economy and highlight the government’s commitment to supporting them through various schemes.
Following the program, the farmers will have the opportunity to have a photo session with ministers and dignitaries and conclude the day with a curated lunch.
This celebration aims to showcase the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare’s dedication to development and recognize the tireless efforts of the agricultural community.
