J-K DGP Asks Police Officers to Provide Excellent Services, Assist People in Getting Justice

Srinagar, 15th Jan.  The Director General of Police (DGP) of Jammu and Kashmir, R R Swain, has instructed officers in his department to deliver exceptional services to the public and assist them in getting justice.

Speaking at an event held in Kupwara’s District Police Lines, Swain emphasized that individuals approach police stations with the expectation of resolving their issues, presenting an opportunity for officers to ensure justice.

As an enforcement agency, the police bear the responsibility of aiding people in achieving justice. Swain stressed that the force must operate within the confines of the law and uphold principles of justice and fairness.

He asked officers to provide excellent services, collaborate closely with the public, establish a robust system of accountability and transparency, and assist those seeking their aid in attaining justice.

Additionally, Swain directed the police department to identify officials who have made significant efforts in improving service and justice for the public, promising them recognition and rewards.
