Adityanath emphasized the opportunity to enhance the global branding of the state during this period.

The chief minister held a meeting with divisional commissioners of Ayodhya, Gorakhpur, and Prayagraj, where he mentioned that distinguished individuals from various fields are expected to attend the Ram temple consecration ceremony on January 22.

Additionally, events like the Khichdi Mela in Gorakhpur and Magh Mela in Prayagraj will commence from Makar Sankranti. The tradition of Kalpavas will be observed in Farrukhabad, and Uttar Pradesh Diwas will be celebrated on January 24, followed by Republic Day on January 26.

Adityanath stressed the importance of thorough preparations for maintaining law and order during this time.

He also highlighted the opportunity to enhance the global branding of the state. Regarding the Ram temple event, he mentioned that bhajans and kirtans will be performed in temples during the day, followed by the celebration of “deepotsav” by lighting ‘Shri Ram Jyotis’ in the evening.

The chief minister directed officials to ensure timely completion of preparations for the Magh Mela at the Triveni Ghat in Prayagraj. He emphasized the need to consider the needs of every devotee and engage in discussions with seers and devotees.

Adityanath also instructed officials to minimize the need for devotees to travel long distances on foot during the Magh Mela. Security at the Khichdi Mela in Gorakhpur was deemed important, and officials were asked to implement an action plan by dividing the area into zones.

Adityanath asked deploying an ASP-rank official in each zone and installing public address systems, fire safety systems, and CCTV cameras at various locations. A special state-wide cleanliness campaign will begin in Ayodhya on January 14, with Adityanath personally inaugurating the initiative.

He encouraged the active participation of teachers, students, and social workers. After January 22, an estimated two to three lakh devotees are expected to arrive in Ayodhya daily. Therefore, preparations for parking, cleanliness, and transportation, including arranging a minimum of 500 additional buses, should be made.

Adityanath also emphasized the installation of at least 10,000 CCTV cameras in Ayodhya and the establishment of “Green Corridors” on roads leading to the city. Furthermore, he highlighted the need to improve lodging facilities such as hotels, dharamshalas, tent cities, and homestays in Ayodhya.
