Punjab and Haryana High Court quashed the summons against journalits in a defamation case filed fifteen years back by then DGP CID, PV,Rathi- Forty two years back me too had faced court summons in defamation cases filed by then Bhiwani SP, Mohinder Singh Malik.
After facing court dates for two years cases were dismissed.
Criminal and Civil defamation cases were filled in Bhiwani Court for my news published in Indian Express as I was reporter at Jind.BG,Vergees then Delhi Editor of Indian Express had appeared in Bhiwani Court.In criminal case one’has to get bail and who will give my bail when the complainant is SP of the district but ,Birbhan clerk in Bhiwani Treasury came to my rescue,
