BJP Chief Chairs Meeting of Party Leaders to Discuss Plans for Jan 22 Ram Temple Event & LS Polls

BJP President J P Nadda on Tuesday chaired a meeting with party leaders to discuss plans for the consecration ceremony at the Ram temple in Ayodhya on January 22, as well as preparations for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

The BJP has instructed its state units to launch a campaign from January 14 to ensure cleanliness in temples and their surroundings, and encourage people to participate in the event by offering prayers at local temples.

Additionally, the party has asked state units to assist individuals who wish to visit the Ram temple after the consecration ceremony.

The meeting, held at Nadda’s residence, was attended by several party leaders including Union ministers Bhupender Yadav, Dharmendra Pradhan, and Ashwini Vaishnaw.

The discussions focused on the party’s plans for the temple ceremony and associated programs.

Furthermore, it was mentioned that a crucial meeting in Ayodhya is scheduled for Wednesday, where leaders will discuss the “Darshan program” for the Ram temple.

The sources also revealed that Nadda reviewed the party’s preparations for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections and discussed the strategy for selecting candidates.

Following the meeting, Nadda embarked on a three-day visit to Assam and Arunachal Pradesh to assess preparations for the upcoming elections.
