UP Man Arrested for Sharing Morphed Images of PM, Amit Shah, and Yogi Adityanath

Muzaffarnagar, 8th Jan. A man from Uttar Pradesh was arrested by the police on Sunday for allegedly sharing a video on social media that contained morphed images of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, and some women political leaders.

The arrest was made by a police team from the Bhawan Police Station in Shamli district, following a complaint about the circulation of a video featuring morphed images of the Prime Minister.

Superintendent of Police Abhishek stated, “We have apprehended Haji Rao Jamshed in connection with this incident and have filed a case against him under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code and the Information Technology Act.”
