Jaipur, 3rd Jan. Rajasthan BJP President C P Joshi said on Tuesday that the state government has ensured development and good governance by appointing Surendra Pal Singh TT, the party’s candidate from the Karanpur assembly seat, as a minister.

Surendra Pal, a former minister, was recently inducted as a minister of state (independent charge) in the cabinet expansion.

Joshi praised Surendra Pal’s clean image and his previous contributions to development.During his election campaign in Karanpur, Joshi criticized the previous Congress government for their misgovernance and the rise in criminal activities. He accused the Congress of deceiving the people of Rajasthan by promising to eradicate poverty and provide good governance.

Joshi highlighted the efforts of the BJP government in fulfilling their manifesto promises, such as providing affordable gas cylinders. He also mentioned the establishment of a Special Investigation Team to address paper leak cases and an anti-gangster task force to combat criminals.

Joshi, along with other BJP leaders, campaigned in Karanpur. The assembly election for the Karanpur seat was postponed due to the death of Congress MLA Gurmeet Singh Koonar. The new polling date is January 5, and the result will be announced on January 8.
