New Delhi, 16th Jan. The CPENGRAMS portal, managed by the Department of Pension and Pensioners Welfare, is an online platform where Central Government Pensioners can submit their complaints. These complaints are then forwarded electronically to the relevant ministries, departments, or organizations.
On January 15, 2024, the Department of Pension and Pensioners Welfare released its 8th Monthly Report on CPENGRAMS and Bhavishya. Here are the key highlights:
Between January 1, 2023, and December 31, 2023, a total of 78,018 pensioner complaints were received on the CPENGRAMS portal. Out of these, 72,453 complaints were resolved. As of the end of December 2023, there were still 8,940 pending cases. In 2023, the Principal Controller of Defence Accounts resolved 18,592 cases, the Department of Ex-Servicemen Welfare resolved 13,598 cases, and the Department of Financial Services resolved 12,682 cases.
In December 2023, a total of 8,560 pensioner complaints were received. The main departments receiving these complaints were the Principal Controller of Defence Accounts, the Department of Ex-Servicemen Welfare, and the Department of Financial Services. In December 2023, 7,012 pensioner complaints were resolved, compared to 6,617 complaints in November 2023. This marks the eighth consecutive month with over 5,000 resolved cases per month. The average time for resolving complaints was 27 days.
In December 2023, the Bhavishya module was successfully integrated with the PFMS Pension Module to generate e-PPOs. A total of 3,093 e-PPOs were generated through the Bhavishya System in December 2023.
