Patna, 2nd Oct. In the cabinet meeting chaired by Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Friday, 18 agendas were approved. A big decision has been taken in the cabinet meeting regarding sand mining. According to the information received, the period of sand ghat settlement in Bihar has been extended till 31 March 2022.
The following points have been approved, in the meeting of the Bihar cabinet,
- Barracks will be built for 4000 soldiers in Bihar Police Academy Rajgir
- 154 crore will be spent, administrative approval on the amount
- Diesel autos will run in the urban areas around Patna like Danapur, Khagaul and Phulwari sharif
- Decision to ban diesel auto extended till 31 March 2022
- Approval of financial upgradation to teachers and headmasters under the provision of MACPS 2010
- Approval of Bihar (Idol immersion process after worship) Rules 2021. Aquatic life was being affected by the use of harmful materials and chemicals in the idols made on the occasion of worship
- 366.35 crore sanctioned for timely completion of Ganga Jal Udvay Yojana Phase-I
- Arrangement of advance withdrawal from Bihar Contingency Fund
- Under the scheme, Ganga water is being supplied to the cities of Rajgir, Gaya and Bodh Gaya
- Creation of 446 posts in OBC and EBC Welfare Department
