17.26 Crore of Covid-19 Vaccinations in India So Far

New Delhi, 11th May. So far 17.26 crore doses of Covid-19 vaccine have been administered in the country. This information has been shared by the Union Ministry of Health. The ministry said that 5,18,479 beneficiaries in the age group of 18 to 44 received the first dose on Monday.

This increased the number of people in this category who have been vaccinated in all states and union territories since the commencement of the third phase of the vaccination campaign to 25,52,843. So far in this age group 5,10,347 in Maharashtra, 4,11,002 in Rajasthan, 3,66,309 in Delhi, 3,23,601 in Gujarat and 2,93,716 in Haryana, 1,77,885 in Bihar, 1,66,814 in Uttar Pradesh and 1 in Assam, and 6,538 people have been vaccinated.

The ministry said that according to the interim report, the total number of doses of Covid-19 vaccine given so far in the country has increased to 17,26,33,761.

5,54,97,658 and 71,73,939 beneficiaries between 45 and 60 years of age have been given first and second doses respectively, while 5,38,00,706 and 1,56,39,381 beneficiaries over 60 years of age have been given the first and second doses.

The ministry said that a total of 24,30,017 vaccines were administered on the 115th day of the vaccination campaign (May 10, 2021), including 10,47,092 first doses and 13,82,925 second doses.
