10 killed in Johannesburg shooting

WASHINGTON – South African police said on Sunday that at least 10 people were killed and another 10 injured in a shooting incident near Johannesburg, South Africa.

According to the media an unidentified gunman opened fire in a village on the outskirts of the city of Johannesburg.

Emergency services and law enforcement officials responded to the scene, where multiple victims were found with gunshot wounds.

Police said the motive behind the attack remains unclear, and the suspect has not yet been identified.

Law enforcement and local officials said that further details are expected as the inquiry continues.
