Yediyurappa’s Son Vijayendra Officially Takes Charge of Karnataka BJP President

Bengaluru, 15th Nov. Yediyurappa’s son, Vijayendra, on Wednesday officially assumed charge of the President of the Karnataka BJP.

The ceremony took place at the state party office, with the presence of former Chief Ministers Yediyurappa, Bommai, and Gowda, along with other senior party leaders.

Vijayendra, a 47-year-old first-time MLA and the son of Yediyurappa, was appointed to the position on November 10.

He previously served as the party’s state unit’s general secretary and vice-president, replacing Nalin Kumar Kateel.

Vijayendra emphasized that he was given this responsibility not just because he is Yediyurappa’s son, but as a dedicated party worker. His main goals are to strengthen the party organization, unite everyone, and win the maximum number of seats in the state during the Lok Sabha polls.
