Bengaluru, 19th Oct. Former Karnataka Chief Minister B.S. Yediyurappa will be honored with the Super Corona Warrior Award at a function in Honali near Davangere on Tuesday.
BJP MLA M.P. Renukacharya said that they have scheduled a function to confer the award to Yediyurappa. He said that the contribution of the veteran leader is huge in containing the COVID-19 pandemic.
Renukacharya said that Yeddiyurappa was infected with Corona twice while being the Chief Minister. He was treated without any fear or hesitation, and he recovered. He traveled all over the state when Corona was at its peak. He said that the former Chief Minister has taken several progressive steps to effectively contain the first and second wave of the pandemic.
5,200 Corona warriors including health workers, ASHA workers, Anganwadi workers and others will be honored in the ceremony.
