Women have Received Proper Women Empowerment Platform in Modi Government: Dr D Purandeswari

GG News Bureau

Dehradun, 28th Sep. Bharatiya Janata Party’s National General Secretary Dr D Purandeswari said that women have found proper medium of service in the Modi government. Leaders of opposition parties have been raising slogans of women empowerment from big platforms for the last several years, but the real work of women empowerment is being done by the Modi government.

She said that today women are trying to make their significant contribution in realizing the dream of self-reliant India. The growth rate of malnourished children has declined very rapidly in the time of the Modi government.

Health has always been a major part of women empowerment. Women health has been focussed and improved through POSHAN Abhiyaan. Modi government has tried to bring women power in the mainstream by bringing various schemes for them in the last 7 years focusing on women power. Free medical treatment is being provided by the Modi government to pregnant women in the first week of Sunday, so that they are getting the right information about their health at the right time.

She said that the responsibility of all the office bearers of Mahila Morcha should be to connect more and more women with the public welfare schemes of the government. This should be our effort in this. During the time of Corona, we saw that women had to face various problems in the field of health and for them, the Modi government has also asked to take steps in the coming times so that the facility can be ensured in future.

The Bharatiya Janata Party has taken the initiative to create new health volunteers through the Rashtriya Swasthya Swayamsevak program and it is proving fruitful. These volunteers will act as a strong bridge between the government and doctors to deal with any situation. Women empowerment does not mean only by worshiping women, but giving them the right employment, proper place, continuous efforts of governments and society should be made for their up-lift, that will eventually become the basic mantra of women empowerment.
