BJP president Amit Shah while addressing a rally in Purulia West Bengal said that his party will stop infiltration of Bangladeshi if came into power. Shah in his speech mentioned that BJP government in Tripura has stopped infiltration from Bangladesh and will do the same in West Bengal if voted to power.
Shah scathing attack on Trinamool Congress government said, “Development schemes of Modi government are not reaching to the people of Bengal. The Mamta Banerjee has also failed in curbing infiltration and cross border smuggling of drugs”.
For the general election in 2019 the BJP is eying to gain vote in Bengal as there are 42 parliamentary seats. The BJP recent win in local bodies have given their party workers hope to encounter TMC’s monopoly in recent past. Shah’s rally is to boost the new energy in the party.
