New Delhi/Islamabad, 3rd May. A disturbing document is doing the rounds on social media, claiming that former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan was sexually assaulted while in jail. The report, said to be from a military hospital in Rawalpindi, contains deeply troubling medical details. But here’s the catch — official sources say Khan was examined elsewhere, and no one has confirmed whether this report is even real.

What Does the Viral Document Say?
The document — presented as a medical summary — carries the name Imran Ahmed Khan Niazi and lists injuries including bruises, swelling, and rectal bleeding. It even mentions suspected causes like anal fissures and hemorrhoids, as well as other possible conditions like colorectal cancer or inflammatory bowel disease.
More alarmingly, the physical exam section claims the patient showed signs of recent physical assault, and describes symptoms typically seen in cases of sexual violence. The report says it was sent to Pakistan’s military headquarters in Rawalpindi.
But Is It Real?
That’s where things get murky.
- The document claims Imran was treated at Pak Emirates Military Hospital (PEMH) in Rawalpindi. But government officials say his check-up was done at PIMS in Islamabad — a completely different hospital.
- There’s no official stamp, signature, or verification attached to the report.
- The Pakistani military and government have not responded — neither confirming nor denying the allegations.
Social Media in Uproar
As the document went viral, many took to social media to express shock, anger, and sympathy. Hashtags like #JusticeForImran and #EndCustodialAbuse are trending, with people demanding transparency about the former PM’s condition in custody.
Still, no statement has come from Imran Khan’s political party, PTI, or from his family, which is only deepening the confusion.
A Serious Allegation — But No Clear Answers
If the report is true, the allegations are horrific. But if it’s fake, it’s a cruel and damaging piece of misinformation. Either way, the silence from officials is fueling public mistrust.
Until Pakistan’s authorities provide a clear, verified response — or Imran Khan’s legal team or family speaks out — this remains an unconfirmed and extremely sensitive claim.
