VP Dhankhar to Launch Development Initiatives in Dharwad Today

Vice-President Jagdeep Dhankhar is scheduled to embark on a visit to Dharwad, Karnataka today. During his one-day tour, Vice-President Dhankhar will inaugurate key infrastructure projects aimed at enhancing education and healthcare in the region.

The highlight of his visit will be at the permanent campus of the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Dharwad, where he will inaugurate several crucial facilities. Among these are the Main Gate Complex, the Knowledge Resource and Data Centre (KRDC), and the Central Learning Theatre (CLT), all aimed at bolstering the academic resources of the prestigious institution. Additionally, Vice-President Dhankhar will lay the foundation stone for the Rooftop Solar Panel facility, demonstrating a commitment to sustainable energy solutions in education.

Furthermore, Vice-President Dhankhar will extend his support to the healthcare sector by gracing the inaugural ceremony of the M.M. Joshi Eye Institute-EYESIRI. Serving as the Chief Guest, his presence will mark the commencement of this new super-speciality eye hospital, promising advanced eye care services for the local community.
