VP Dhankhar to Commission Statues, Dedicate Projects During Goa Visit

Panaji, 20th May: Vice-President Jagdeep Dhankhar will embark on a three-day official visit to Goa from May 20 to 22, 2025.

On May 21, VP Dhankhar is slated to visit Mormugao Port, where he will inaugurate new projects dedicated to the nation. He will engage with senior officers and staff of the Mormugao Port Authority. Additionally, the Vice-President will meet with senior officers of the Indian Coast Guard aboard a Coast Guard vessel docked at the port.

The following day, May 22, Dhankhar will visit the ICAR-Central Coastal Agricultural Research Institute (CCARI) to interact with faculty members and scientists, emphasizing the importance of agricultural research for coastal regions.

During his stay in Goa, the Vice-President will also visit Raj Bhavan to commission statues of the ancient Indian scholars Charaka and Sushruta, honoring their notable contributions to Ayurveda and Surgery.
