New Delhi, 31st Dec. Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar on Tuesday extended warm greetings to the nation on the eve of New Year 2025, marking a significant milestone in India’s journey as a republic.
In his message, the Vice President highlighted that the year 2025 signals India’s entry into the final quarter of the centenary of its Constitution, emphasizing the profound commitment to democracy and constitutional values that has shaped the nation’s growth. “This is a momentous juncture reflecting our enduring democracy and emergence as a global economic hub,” he said.
VP Dhankhar called on citizens to rededicate themselves to the vision of India’s Constitution makers while working towards the realization of ‘Viksit Bharat’ by 2047. He encouraged renewed commitment towards civic duties, self-reliance, and social harmony, stressing the importance of building a sustainable future that reflects India’s unique values.
“As we move into the New Year, let us continue to nurture democratic values and move forward with determination, always keeping the nation first,” the Vice President concluded, wishing all a Happy and Purposeful New Year.
