New Delhi, 30th Sept. A dance video of a woman grooving to the famous item song ‘Aaj Ki Raat’ from Stree 2 inside a metro has gone viral, stirring a wave of reactions on social media. While videos of children dancing to the same song in schools sparked debates and coaching center performances received significant attention, this time, a woman’s bold dance moves in the metro have triggered a backlash from netizens.

Social media is often a platform where the most unconventional content gains traction quickly. Many influencers look for public places to create viral content, and the metro is no exception. However, this particular video has received mixed responses, with users flooding the comment section with varied reactions to the woman’s performance.

One user commented, “This is not public demand but public harassment,” while another said, “A casual way of begging for attention.” A third warned, “You should be ready for legal action now.” Despite the criticism, some users praised the woman’s confidence, with one remarking, “You have no shortage of confidence.”

In the video, the woman is seen performing Tamannaah Bhatia’s iconic steps from the song inside a metro coach, likely recorded in a women-only compartment. Passengers seated around her appear to ignore her performance, while a few glance at her without much interest. Despite her best efforts to mimic the dance moves, the passengers remain largely unaffected, but internet users were far from indifferent.

The clip, shared by Instagram user @sahelirudra, was captioned, “On public demand.” The Reel has garnered over 1.4 million views and 33,000 likes, with more than 3,500 comments reflecting the divided opinions. While some have harshly criticized the woman for disrupting public spaces, others applauded her for her boldness in performing in front of an audience.
