Ranchi, 3rd March. A crucial meeting of Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP), Jharkhand Province was held in Ranchi on Wednesday in the presence of the National Spokesperson of Vishwa Hindu Parishad, Vinod Bansal.

Addressing the meeting, Bansal said that the vicious cycle of dividing Jharkhand is being run by the anti-national conspirators and enemies of tribal culture.

He said that in many districts of the state including Hazaribagh, Jamshedpur, Latehar, Pakur and Sahebganj, religious conversion activities are being carried out by illegal churches. In the name of healing assembly, efforts are being made to divert the innocent people from their ancient Sanatan Hindu religion and culture.

Despite the prohibition of conversion law in Jharkhand, the conversion is happening here. He said that an impersonator named Ravi Singh is not only doing the work of a sinful pastor by becoming a self-proclaimed saint, but is also making a malicious attempt to tarnish the Sikh society of the glorious holy tradition of Gurus. The government should take immediate action against the people of such evil intentions.

He said that the hatred that is being spread inside the society is a matter of concern for the country, the province and the Hindu society. He said that due to the dual policy of Christian missionaries, the rights of the tribes of the entire country including Jharkhand are being attacked. The benefit of reservation of Scheduled Tribes to the converts should be stopped. The government should immediately bring a law in this regard.

He said that people with jihadi mindset are killing Hindutva workers inside the country. In Jharkhand too, many people including Mukesh Soni of Khilari, Rupesh Pandey of Barhi were killed just because they were working for the Hindu society. He said that there should be a high level investigation into the killings of Hindu activists in Jharkhand and the accused. The death penalty should be given at the earliest through fast track court.

Vishwa Hindu Parishad Provincial Minister Dr. Birendra Sahu informed that the VHP delegation will meet the MLAs and ministers of Jharkhand and request them to strictly implement the Prohibition of Conversion Act in the state.

Area Organization Minister Akarpu Keshav Raju, Province Organization Minister Devi Singh, Province Co-Minister Rangnath Mahto, Metropolitan Minister Chandradeep Dubey and many workers were present in the meeting.
