Uttarakhand Assembly Election 2022: PM Modi to Start the Election campaign in Uttarakhand From November

Dehradun, 9th Oct. PM Narendra Modi is likely to start the election campaign in the month of November regarding the assembly election 2022 to be held in Uttarakhand. According to sources, PM Modi can address the first election rally in mid-November.

Along with this, a senior BJP leader said that the PM can address the rally around November 20, although the date has not been decided yet, but according to media reports, the state unit of Uttarakhand but at least 5 rallies of PM Modi have been proposed.

The Uttarakhand BJP unit has started the process of shortlisting the candidates in view of the upcoming assembly elections. According to sources, the BJP leader said that there will be 2 reports, one will be given by the state and the other will be given by the Center after the survey. The work given by the BJP organization like social work during the COVID-19 pandemic and the work done under the ‘Seva Hi Sangathan’ campaign will also be considered.

Voting is to be held in the state in February next year to elect 70 members of the Uttarakhand Legislative Assembly. The term of the current assembly, elected in the year 2017, will end on March 23, 2022. In the last state assembly elections, the BJP had won, while the Congress had to face a crushing defeat. This time also BJP has entered the electoral fray to register victory.
