Uttar Pradesh: Mayor Sanyukta Bhatia launched Anusuiya Kitchen in Lucknow for Poor

Lucknow, 20th Oct. On her 74th birthday, Lucknow Mayor Sanyukta Bhatia launched Mayor Anusuiya Kitchen, which will provide food at Rs 10 per plate to poor patients, laborers and attendants in hospitals.
Stalls will be set up near hospitals from where food will be distributed. The food would also be distributed in the slum areas.
The Mayor inaugurated 205 projects and laid the foundation stone of 140 projects related to road repair, interlocking of footpaths and construction of drainage. According to officials, all the projects collectively cost around Rs 24.8 crore. Officials said the projects are aimed at improving civic amenities.
Municipal Commissioner Ajay Dwivedi said that orders have also been issued to complete the projects for which the foundation stone was laid at the earliest.
