Lucknow, 23rd April. After failure in Uttar Pradesh assembly elections 2022, all is not going well in the Samajwadi Party.

On one hand, supporters of Rampur Samajwadi Party MLA Azam Khan are raising their voices against SP chief Akhilesh Yadav, while on the other hand, Shivpal Singh Yadav is also giving Akhilesh an open challenge.

After Swami Prasad Maurya’s nephew Vinod Maurya, now another SP leader has decided to leave the party. According to sources, former MLC and senior leader Harpal Saini has announced to leave the Samajwadi Party in Meerut.

Talking to the media, Harpal Saini called SP chief Akhilesh Yadav an arrogant leader. He further said that joining SP was a wrong decision.

Harpal Saini, who has been in several parties, had joined the Samajwadi Party with Swami Prasad Maurya. Saini said that he would announce his further decision a few days later.

Harpal Saini, while talking to reporters at his shastri nagar residence in Meerut, said that he sacrificed his life for the SP and also won the Sardhana seat. He said he has been continuously active in western Uttar Pradesh politics for 35 years.

He was the leader of the party in the Legislative Council in the House. He has also had the privilege of being the Chairman of various committees. Saini said that before the UP Assembly elections 2022, he had made a mistake by leaving the BJP, not only that, he said that in the Sardhana assembly elections, when SP had given me the responsibility, I completed it with full effort. But now I feel that the SP is not a party of respectable workers. It is only a party of sycophants and tainted people. He said that I have become disillusioned with this party.
