Lucknow, 20th Sept. After the recent transfer of 14 IAS officers, including ten District Magistrates, the Yogi Adityanath government has undertaken yet another major administrative reshuffle. In the state, 17 more IAS officers, including 6 CDOs, have been transferred.
New Vice Chairmen have been appointed in the Gorakhpur, Varanasi, Aligarh, and Bulandshahr-Khurja Development Authorities, as well as new Municipal Commissioners in the Ghaziabad and Aligarh Municipal Corporations. In addition, six new Chief Development Officers (CDOs) have been appointed.
According to the transfer list, Mahendra Singh Tanwar, the Municipal Commissioner of Ghaziabad, has been appointed ViceChairman of the Gorakhpur Development Authority. Nitin Gaur, CDO Mathura, will be the Municipal Commissioner of Ghaziabad Municipal Corporation in his place.
Commissioner of Ghaziabad Municipal Corporation in his place. Manish Meena, Joint Magistrate of Rampur, has been appointed CDO Mathura, while Abhishek Goyal, CDO Varanasi, has been appointed ViceChairman of the Varanasi Development Authority.
Suraj Patel, the Joint Magistrate of Meerut, has been appointed CDO Fatehpur, while Amit Asri, the CDO Chitrakoot, has been appointed Municipal Commissioner of Aligarh Municipal Corporation. Meanwhile, Ankur Kaushik, the Joint Magistrate of Jalaun, will take over as CDO Chitrakoot.
Dr Ankur Lather, who was CDO Amethi, has been appointed ViceChairman of the Bulandshahr-Khurja Development Authority, while Divya Prakash Giri, who was Additional Commissioner (Excise) in Prayagraj, has been appointed Special Secretary, Fertilizers and Logistics.
Besides that, Satya Prakash, CDO Fatehpur, has been assigned as Additional Commissioner to Prayagraj (Excise). Moreover, Amritpal Kaur, Joint Magistrate of Basti, will serve as CDO Sultanpur, Sanya Chhabra, Joint Magistrate of Jhansi, will serve as CDO Amethi, UP Election Commissioner Krishan Kumar Gupta as Special Secy Secondary Education, and Sanjeev Singh, who has been placed on APO, has been transferred to the post of Special Secy Finance.
Meanwhile, the government has cancelled Ravindra Pal Singh’s posting order, which had him transferred from Special Secy, Home to Special Secy, Secondary Education, and has now appointed him as Special Secy, Language and Director Hindi Sansthan.
