UP by-elections: SP in lead in Mainpuri, Rampur Sadar, and Khatauli

Lucknow, 8th Dec. According to bypoll trends in Uttar Pradesh, Samajwadi Party candidate Dimple Yadav is leading in the Mainpuri Lok Sabha constituency, while RLD and SP candidates are leading in the Khatauli and Rampur Sadar seats, respectively.

While Yadav has taken a 15,000-vote lead over BJP candidate Raghuraj Singh Shakya in Mainpuri, RLD candidate Madan Bhaiya has taken a 1,000-vote lead over BJP candidate Rajkumar Saini in Khatauli, according to the Election Commission website.

According to sources, Samajwadi Party candidate Asim Raja is leading from Rampur Sadar, while BJP candidate Akash Saxena is trailing.

The by-elections for these seats were held on December 5.
