Union Home Minister Amit Shah Inaugurates Flyover, Health Centre in Gujarat

Ahmedabad, 26th Sept. Union Home Minister Amit Shah inaugurated a flyover and a primary health center near Ahmedabad, Gujarat, on Monday.

Shah is on two-days visit to Gujarat from today, attending a host of events including a farmers’ conference in the Ahmedabad district.

The Home Minister inaugurated a flyover near Bhadaj village on the SP Ring Road on the city’s outskirts, which falls within his Gandhinagar Lok Sabha constituency.

The Ahmedabad Urban Development Authority (AUDA) built this six-lane flyover at a cost of Rs 73 crore to relieve traffic congestion on the busy Bhadaj circle of the ring road, according to a Gujarat government release.

Later, Shah inaugurated a primary health care center in Virochannagar village, Sanand taluka, which also falls within his parliamentary constituency.

According to the official schedule, the Union minister will also lay the groundwork for an Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) hospital in Sanand, Ahmedabad district.

In the afternoon, he will attend a farmers’ conference in Ahmedabad’s Bavla village.

According to a government release, farmers from Shah’s Gandhinagar parliamentary constituency are organizing the “Rin Sweekar Sammelan” (gratitude acceptance conference) to express gratitude for providing irrigation facilities in 164 villages.
