UK: Bank Holiday on Queen Elizabeth II’s State Funeral on Sep 19

London, 13^th September.  The date of Queen Elizabeth II’s State Funeral, Monday, September 19, will be a national bank holiday in the United Kingdom.

Individuals, businesses, and other organizations will be able to pay their respects to Her Majesty and commemorate Her reign on the final day of the period of national mourning.

This bank holiday will be observed in the same manner as other bank holidays, with no statutory right to time off. Employers may include bank holidays in employees’ leave entitlements.

The bank holiday will take place across the United Kingdom.
