Three Killed in Jhansi Road Accident While Trying to Save Puppy

Jhansi, 22nd Jan. Three men lost their lives in a tragic road accident on the Jhansi-Lalitpur national highway on Tuesday evening after their car rammed into a parked truck, police reported.

The incident occurred near the Babina toll plaza at around 6:30 pm when the driver attempted to save a puppy that suddenly came onto the road. Circle Officer Alok Kumar stated that Karan Vishwakarma, a resident of Siya village in Jhansi, had just gotten engaged in Lalitpur earlier in the day.

Returning to Chirgaon with his companions Pradyumna Sen and Pramod Yadav, the car’s driver lost control while swerving to avoid the puppy. The vehicle collided with a stationary truck, leaving all three men, aged between 20 and 25, dead on the spot.

The impact completely destroyed the car, and the victims’ bodies had to be extricated from the wreckage using a JCB machine. The remains have been sent for post-mortem, police confirmed.
