Telangana has released Rs 250 crore to four Mandals under the Dalit Bandhu Scheme

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on Tuesday distributed Rs 250 crore to four mandals in four Assembly constituencies for the Dalit Bandhu scheme’s implementation. Tirumalagiri Mandal in Suryapet district received Rs 50 crore, Chintakani Mandal in Khammam district received Rs 100 crore, Charagonda Mandal in Nagarkurnool district received Rs 50 crore, and Nizamsagar Mandal in Kamareddy district received Rs 50 crore.
The funds were deposited in the accounts of the district collectors by the Telangana State Scheduled Castes Development Corporation.
KCR directed the collectors to expedite the Dalit Bandhu scheme’s implementation in the four mandals and the Huzurabad Assembly constituency.

Dalit Bandhu is a new Telangana government programme whose main goal is to empower Dalit families and encourage them to start businesses.
