Grants Interim Bail

The Supreme Court granted interim bail to suspended Jharkhand cadre IAS officer Pooja Singhal in a money laundering case on Tuesday so she could care for her ailing daughter.

Teesta Setalvad, a social activist who was arrested on June 25 for allegedly fabricating evidence to persecute "innocent people," was granted interim bail on Friday by the Supreme Court.
