Symbol of Pride: 108-Foot Tricolour Flagpole Mounted Near LoC in J&K

In a gesture symbolizing national pride and unity, a towering 108-foot flagpole adorned with the Indian tricolour has been mounted at Kaman Post near the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir, officials announced on Thursday.

The inauguration ceremony, marked by the unveiling of a commemorative plaque, was graced by distinguished guests including Major General Ashim Kohli (retired) from the Flag Foundation of India and Brigadier K S Dahiya, Commander of the Kalapahar Brigade, along with other notable dignitaries.

The event witnessed a large gathering comprising school children, local residents, and tourists, who gathered to witness the historic moment. The dedication of the flagpole commenced with an inspiring address to the audience, wherein the rich history and significance of India’s national flag were passionately recounted.

Following the enlightening speech, the guest of honor officially inaugurated the majestic flagpole, symbolizing the enduring spirit and unity of the nation. The towering presence of the tricolour near the LoC stands as a testament to the unwavering patriotism and resilience of the Indian people.
