Suriname witnesses the attraction of Yoga with President Kovind

The President of India, Shri Ram Nath Kovind and the First Lady of India, Smt. Savita Kovind along with the President of the Republic of Suriname, Mr. Desire Delano Bouterse and the First Lady of Suriname, Mrs. Ingrid Bouterse-Waldring paying floral tributes at the Statue of Mahatma Gandhi, in Suriname on June 19, 2018.

The 4^thInternational Yoga Day is celebrated at Rashtrapati Bhavan on 21 June. More than 500 officers, staff, residents of the President’s estate and their family members participated in the Yoga day.

The President, Shri Ram Nath Kovind being received by the President of the Republic of Suriname, Mr. Desire Delano Bouterse, on his arrival, at Johan Adolf Pengel International Airport, in Paramaribo, Suriname on June 19, 2018.

President Ram Nath Kovind who is in the official trip of Suriname also participated in the International Yoga Day along with his counterpart Paramaribo and other dignitaries at 0700 Hrs (Suriname local time).
