New Delhi, 14th May. When Prime Minister Narendra Modi remarked that the Congress had black money hidden in tempo, Rahul Gandhi seized the chance to respond.

Gandhi poked fun at the Adani group, which runs the Lucknow airport, when he touched down in the city on Monday and reaffirmed his call for an investigation into Adani and Ambani.

Gandhi joked, “I was wondering how many tempos were required to do this thing at this tempo,” while announcing that the Adani group had been granted 50 years’ worth of airports.

Delhi town hall meetings and Rahul’s rally

In the lead-up to the sixth round of the Lok Sabha elections, Gandhi will conduct a town hall and rally in the nation’s capital. Delhi will vote in all seven parliamentary constituencies on May 25, according to Delhi Congress head Devender Yadav’s announcement on Monday.

“Congress has finished getting ready to win all seven of Delhi’s Lok Sabha seats. A political organization’s ‘booth’ is its foundation; the more robust the booth, the more effectively elections can be waged. In all 13,630 Delhi Congress booths, booth management teams are teaching staff members how to speak with 14.7 million voters personally,” stated Yadav.

“Training teams have been formed for this purpose,” Yadav stated at a press conference held at the Delhi Congress office.

Additionally, a control room has been established, and fifteen teams, one for each of the three constituencies, have been assigned to oversee the task of delivering the Congress’s assurances to each and every home in the capital.”

As part of its alliance with the Aam Aadmi Party, the Congress party has fielded three candidates from Delhi for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

Sonia Gandhi promotes the Mahalakshmi scheme

Former Congress President Sonia Gandhi spoke to female voters on Monday during the fourth phase of election to emphasize the party’s main pledge to give ₹1 lakh yearly to the woman who heads every poor family.

The Congress’s ‘Mahalakshmi’ initiative will see us award ₹1 lakh annually to a woman from a low-income family. Millions of families in Telangana and Karnataka have already seen a change in their life as a result of our promises,” Gandhi stated in her second video address for this election.

Gandhi became a member of the Rajya Sabha earlier this year, having served in the Lok Sabha for almost 25 years, due to health and age-related issues. Senior Congress officials stated that although Gandhi—who is credited with leading the Congress to victory in 2004—is not expected to participate in the campaign in person, she will be heavily involved in the virtual one.
