Six Ambassadors Present Credentials to President Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan

 In a formal ceremony held at Rashtrapati Bhavan on Thursday, the President of India, Droupadi Murmu, accepted the credentials of the newly appointed Ambassadors and High Commissioners from six countries, marking the strengthening of diplomatic ties with nations across Asia, the Caribbean, Central America, and Eurasia.

The envoys who presented their credentials to President Murmu included:

  1. Ms Chavanart Thangsumphant, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand
  2. Mr Nestor Gabriel Baltodano Vargas, Ambassador of the Republic of Costa Rica
  3. Mr Gurdip Bath, High Commissioner of Saint Kitts and Nevis
  4. Mr Ali Murat Ersoy, Ambassador of the Republic of Turkiye
  5. Mr M. Riaz Hamidullah, High Commissioner of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh
  6. Mr Azamat Yeskaraev, Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan

The presentation of credentials is a ceremonial tradition that formally marks the beginning of the envoys’ diplomatic duties in India. The event underscores India’s commitment to deepening bilateral and multilateral relations with these nations in areas such as trade, cultural exchange, technology, and global cooperation.

President Murmu welcomed the dignitaries and conveyed her best wishes for their successful tenure in India.
