There is a strange situation in the ruling Trinamool Congress ahead of the assembly elections to be held next year. Another MLA from the party Silbhadra Dutta has resigned from the membership of the party. Silbhadra Dutta is an MLA from the Barrackpore seat in West Bengal. It must be noted that many Trinamool Congress leaders have left the party recently.
A senior Trinamool leader Suvendu Adhikari had also left the party. Ahead of the Assembly elections of 2021 this is being considered as a big blow to Trinamool Congress.
