Sikkim Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang Meets Prime Minister Modi

New Delhi, 27th August. In a key meeting held yesterday in New Delhi, the Chief Minister of Sikkim, Shri Prem Singh Tamang, met with Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi to discuss matters concerning the development of the northeastern state. The Prime Minister’s Office confirmed the meeting through a post on X (formerly Twitter), stating, “CM of Sikkim, Shri @PSTamangGolay, met PM @narendramodi yesterday.”

Though details of the discussion have not been disclosed, the meeting is believed to have covered important state-related issues, including infrastructure development, tourism promotion, and the ongoing welfare initiatives in Sikkim. As a northeastern state known for its natural beauty and strategic location, Sikkim has been actively focusing on sustainable development, agricultural advancements, and enhancing its connectivity with the rest of India.
